THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO VISIT IN CAPE TOWN

According to Chinese Feng Shui - Cape Town is a perfect City by its geography . Those words introduces Cape Town when I rode the Red tour bus with my earphone plugged in at the commentary system available at every seat . 

Cape Town is the second largest populous city in South Africa. The locals called it Mother City due to it's breathtaking natural wonders with table mountain as the city's most prominent landmark. It's also home to bountiful vineyard, golden beaches, outdoor or indoor activities and everything in between plus deity looking guys and girls...yes! seriously they're everywhere in Cape Town . 

I was there for a week last February ; the best time to visit  and let me tell you I enjoyed every single minute of my stay. One week was not even enough.. wished I could have stayed longer. :(

Those planning and want to have ideas of what cape town has to offer . Here are my share of things to do and must visit places in Cape Town.

CAPE TOWN ARRIVAL AND GLIMPSE OF JOHANNESBURG AIRPORT

February 2015 ,  I was given the opportunity to travel  to Cape Town  in lieu of medical training sponsored by my company. Took a direct flight from Kolwezi to Johannesburg which lasted for three hours  and boarded a domestic flight from OR Tambo Airport to Cape Town for another two hours aboard South African Airways.

Hi guys!!! ...still in awe from my previous trip in Cape Town South Africa  where I insanely fell in love with the place ...Cape Town is a must visit tourist destination with plentiful of activities to do. Apparently for Filipinos planning to experience the most developed country in Africa ; obtaining a valid visit visa is a must. However ,being a lucky girl that I am...ehem.. My generous company sponsored all expenses including my visa , round trip airfare and accommodation. 

MY FIRST AIRBNB EXPERIENCE

Whenever I engaged myself on a trip abroad I always get fret where to stay so I invariably consider staying in a hotel for a more convenient  staycation . However ,  given that hotel stays are steep on one's budget is a big problem especially for  budget travelers.

Good thing though that AirBnB is around .. It's a company founded in August 2008 and according to their website:

"Airbnb is a trusted community marketplace for people to list , discover , and book unique accommodations around the world."

How AirBnb works? Basically , if you are going to a place where you need to stay even for a night and wanted to have a unique staycation experience . One can choose from plentiful of accommodation options such as  apartments , condominiums ,  villa , house , and even a private room . AirBnb will make sure you get what you want and what you need in terms of unique accommodation experience with surprisingly affordable rates and will fit one's budget compared to hotels. Another  feature of AirBnb is the opportunity for people to monetize their extra space and that is where all the accommodations posted upon searching their site came from. People whom shared their private spaces ,showing it to the world and  let travelers stay but with a fee of course!!

DAY 4: DISNEYLAND and NGONG PING 360

After our arduous day at Ocean Park. The family pursued with our visit to Disneyland and Ngong Ping Village albeit t'was weekend ; going to these places on a weekend might get more exhausting due to throng of tourists and locals alike. Thus, if  you plan to visit these places on weekends -  hell yeah!! expect inevitable  queues especially with the cable car in ngong ping..

Day 3 : OCEAN PARK HONG KONG

Before Disneyland conquered Hong Kong. The first in Hongkong and the largest theme park  in Asia enticing millions of visitors annually is the OCEAN PARK in Aberdeen . The theme park has a wide array of attractions , exhibits , and rides ..which was built for thrill seekers  and being an adventure seeker myself ; the rides in ocean park albeit scary,  definetely gave me the adrenaline rush I was looking for.. :)

MACAU .. THE SIN CITY OF ASIA

Imagine a place full of casinos everywhere , a huge resort where you feel like you're in Venice , and a Portuguese inspired stores , structures and road pavements . All of these in just one place and to be seen in Asia ...

 MACAU or MACAO  - is one of the special administrative region of China and a haven for huge resorts and casinos .

From Hong Kong , visiting Macao is  mostly a side trip with a half day or a full day roaming around and visit common places in this former Portuguese colony. Most of the tourists from Hong Kong either  take the ferry from Sheung Wan on Central Island and HK-China Terminal in Kowloon Side.
